i may not be his first, his last, or his one and only. he loved before, he may love again. but if he loves me now, what else matters? he’s not perfect-i’m not either, and the two of us may never be perfect together but he can make me laugh, causes me to think twice, and admit to being humane making mistakes, i am holding onto him and giving him the most that i got. he may not be thinking about me every second of the day, but he willingly gave me a part of him that he knows i can break—his heart. so i won’t hurt him, i won’t change him, i won’t analyze nor expect more than what he can give. i smile as he makes me happy. i’ll let him know if he’s making me mad, and i am truly missing him whenever he’s not here.
